  • Kalle Rovanperä should not be heated! The Finn, who was beaten for the first time of the day by Elfyn Evans during SS6, showed who was boss in the Czech Republic with another great time during SS7. The reigning champion sees the closest opponent, Thierry Neuville, relegated to 8 seconds on this simple special!
  • The Belgian had the opportunity to move up to 2nd place overall, but failed just three tenths behind Elfyn Evans who remained second. The Welshman is now 37″2 behind the leader of the rally to the general.
  • Beyond the top 3, the drivers are not in the game. Ott Tänak, winner in Chile, seems helpless on the muddy roads of the Czech Republic, and remains isolated in 4th place overall, hoping for a mistake from the drivers in front of him.
  • A battle for 5th place begins to form: 5th, Takamoto Katsuta, and 8th, Sébastien Ogier, are only separated by 25 seconds after SS7.
  • Pierre-Louis Loubet was penalized with a one-minute penalty. The Frenchman did not properly attach his helmet strap in SS4…
