Finland – SS2: Tänak starts strong, Solberg in the background

Ott Tänak is very early! The Estonian took the scratch on SS2 Rally de Finlande, en 5’24″6. Le pilote Hyundai a profité de sa position de départ, derrière Kalle Rovanperä, Thierry Neuville and Elfyn Evans, to achieve the best time. The three drivers leading the championship had the task of sweeping a fairly slippery road on the 11,75 kilometer special.
If Takamoto Katsuta was trapped by going in the wrong direction at the end of the special, Oliver Solberg was injured in the first turn of the stage. The young Swede went too far after a few meters, before rolling over. The Hyundai driver was stopped on the side of the road. If the crew escaped unscathed, the car seemed very damaged…
