It's an exciting duel that Esapekka Lappi and Ott Tänak ! The two drivers once again monopolized the first two places on SS9 of the Rally de Finlande.

Behind, it also tightens between Elfyn Evans and Kalle Rovanperä for 3rd place. The Welshman retained his 3rd place by just 5 tenths ahead of the Finn. Craig Breen (5th, +3″9) gave himself a little breathing space in front of Takamoto Katsuta (7th, +5″1) and now has a 1″8 lead over the Toyota driver. Thierry Neuville (6th, +4″6) is still behind in 7th place.

SS9 was a little more complicated for our French: Pierre-Louis Loubet (9th, +6″1) and Adrien fourmaux (10th, +9″9) lacked pace on this penultimate special of the day. Jari Huttunen (11th, +11″7) was able to restart despite his oil pressure problem.
