Après deux épreuves passées sur le banc de touche, Oliver Solberg et Eliott Edmondson sont bien de retour au volant de la Hyundai pour les deux prochaines épreuves de WRC, in Kenya and Estonia. The young Swedish driver had participated in the first three rallies of the season, at Monte-Carle, in Sweden and in Croatia, before being replaced by the experienced Dani Sordo for the Portuguese and Italian rounds.

After a complicated start to the season, concluded by two retirements and a mere eighth place in Sweden, the son of the 2003 WRC world champion, Petter Solberg, is preparing to return to Kenya, after a complicated first experience in 2021 alongside the private 2C Competition team. The Swede will then continue with the Rally of Estonia in July, as well as in August, for the Rally of Finland and Belgium, before giving way in mid-September to Sordo for the Acropolis Rally in Greece.
Since the start of the season, the two drivers have shared a partial program set up by the South Korean manufacturer for their third car.
