Visibly disturbed by a mechanical problem which remains to be confirmed on its Toyota Yaris WRC at the finish of SS16 Rally from Italy, Jari-Matti Latvala stopped before joining the service park to examine his mount.

The Finn is in third place in the rally, and remains under direct threat from his teammate Esapekka Lappi, fourth less than six seconds before the final Sunday specials.
