The new health measures put in place by the French government in the face of the coronavirus epidemic rebound have forced the organizers of the Rally of Nancy to cancel their event, scheduled for November 14 and 15.

“The news came like a hammer. We regret having to cancel our next 2 events, the 46th Nancy-Damelevières Slalom, scheduled for October 31 and November 1, and the 40th Nancy Regional Rally, scheduled for November 14 and 15, indicates ASA Nancy.

Following the ban on their progress received today by the prefecture, after the new health restrictions put in place by the Government on October 16, including the state of health emergency until November 16 throughout the territory and the publication of Decree No. 2020-1262 of 16/10/20: Article 3, III: “Gatherings, meetings or activities on the public highway or in a place open to the public other than those mentioned in II bringing together in a manner more than six people are prohibited at the same time.

ASA Nancy will have experienced a “blank” year with the cancellation of all its 2020 events due to this pandemic. Hours of work spent but not for nothing: the objective now is to succeed in overcoming this crisis and to be able to continue to organize motorsport events in 2021: it is only a postponement. »
