Bad news for the French Gravel Rally Championship at the end of 2023. The 2024 season has not yet started when an event has been withdrawn from the calendar. The organizers of the Rally Terre de Langres announced on Monday on Facebook the cancellation of the next edition of the Grand Est round.

“The ASA Langres has made the decision not to organize the 25th Rallye Terre de Langres and 13th Rallye Terre de Langres VHC, an event registered in the French Rally Championship from July 19 to 21, 2024”, can we read on this publication.

An announcement that resonates with that made at the start of the year, where the organizers had first canceled the 2023 edition of the Rallye Terre de Langres for economic reasons, before backtracking and organizing the event in mid-July.

The official calendar for the 2024 French Terrestrial Rally Championship has yet to be made official. A championship which should therefore include six events, with the Terre de Causses, the Castine Terre d'Occitanie, the Terre d'Aléria, the Terre de Lozère, the Terre des Cardabelles and the Terre de Vaucluse.
