Returning to the competition, Brunson was quickly in the right rhythm by taking the lead of the race. He confirmed in SS2 before being betrayed by his power steering, losing more than 3′ in the process. Ling then found himself in command ahead of Alemany and Roussel, leader of group N. Brunson then put on the scratches like pearls but, despite all his determination, he could not make up for all of his delay, finally climbing onto the second step of the podium. just over 1′ from Ling. Alemany took second place while Rousssel closed the Top 5 in the company of Coignard, his group runner-up, followed by Burgot. Gaillardon was fighting with Coignard until they went off the road. In group R, Jeanblanc won ahead of Toussaint. Nice fight for the F2000 between Léon and Denis until the latter's abandonment. The Seat driver won against Lemire and Letalleur.
