Lionel Baud (Peugeot 307 WRC) won the first special of the Rally Land of Lozère. The first leader of the event already has a lead of almost 15 seconds over the Citroën C4 WRC of Jean-Marie Cuoq. Emmanuel Gascou (Peugeot 207 S2000) follows the Championship leader two seconds behind. Jean-Marc Falco (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) occupies fourth place, 18 seconds behind the reference time ahead of the Subaru Impreza of Alain Deveza and the 307 WRC of Paul Chieusse.
