Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4 WRC) signed two scratches in a row in the second stage of the Rally Terre de Lozère and is only 17 seconds behind second place still held by Emmanuel Gascou (Peugeot 207 S2000). Lionel Baud (Peugeot 307 WRC) retains the lead of the event with a 47-second lead despite recurring clutch problems. Jérôme Jacquot (207 S2000) now occupies fourth place after taking the lead over the Subaru Impreza R4 of Dominique Bruyneel with a 14-second lead. Jean-Marc Falco (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) indeed retired at the end of the first stage while he was in fourth place. Paul Chieusse (307 WRC) also threw in the towel this morning following a mechanical problem.

Vincent Dubert retains control of the Citroën Racing Trophy with a lead of 52 seconds over Quentin Giordano. The category leader occupies seventh place in the general classification, less than ten seconds behind the Citroën C4 WRC of Laurent Carbonaro.
