The 2025 season will be a busy one for Max McRae. In parallel with its commitment to BRC (British Rally Championship) at the wheel of a Citroën C3 Rally2, the nephew of the late 1995 world champion will continue his program in ERC but this time by moving up in rank.
After his time in the Junior category for the past two seasons, the 20-year-old driver will be stepping up to the big leagues by moving up to ERC1 in the European Rally Championship this year. For this new adventure, Max McRae has not changed a thing and will once again place his trust in the TRT Rally Team, still driving a Citroën C3 Rally2.

« It's exciting to look forward to such a busy year., smiles the Scotsman. Moving from the Junior category to ERC1 is something I feel really ready for. Last season was great, but we've grown a lot by racing a Rally2 in the BRC and a Rally4 in the ERC Junior. Now we're in Rally2 at all levels. The opportunity to race regularly in the same car will enrich my experience. »
The 2025 ERC season is scheduled to begin at Rally Sierra Morena in Spain in just a few days (April 4-6).
