Sébastien Ogier scored a third scratch in three stages on the Monte-Carlo Rally and extends his lead at the head of the event ahead of Elfyn Evans.

The night has not calmed Sébastien Ogier. Le Français est toujours aussi rapide et a poursuivi sur sa lancée de jeudi soir en signant un 3e scratch en trois spéciales. Le pilote Toyota a réalisé le meilleur temps de l’ES3 avec un temps de 9’54″7 sur la spéciale Roure / Roubion / Beuil, longue de 18,33 kilomètres. Sébastien Ogier accentue son avance en tête du Rally Monte-Carlo is now 9″2 ahead of Elfyn Evans, who conceded 3″2 on this 3rd special.

Behind, Kalle Rovanperä, third in SS3 (+6″1), and now also third overall. The reigning world champion overtook Ott Tänak et Thierry Neuville. The Estonian even lost two positions, even if the gap between Rovanperä, Neuville and Tänak is less than two tenths. A small gap has formed between the top 5 and the rest of the Rally1 field, since Dani Sordo is already more than 20 seconds behind Tänak. Pierre-Louis Loubet got closer to the Spaniard with the 6th time on this 3rd special, the Corsican is still 7th overall, 48″5 behind Ogier.
