Portugal, SS8 – Neuville cracks, Toyota in an armchair

Kalle Rovanperä a signé son deuxième temps scratch d’affilée, rognant son retard sur Elfyn Evans. Le Gallois compte désormais 10″ d’avance sur le leader du championnat du monde. L’ES8 a été également marqué par les erreurs de Pierre-Louis Loubet. Le Corse est sorti de route à deux reprises et a rempli son habitacle de poussière, perdant plus de vingt secondes, et probablement la 3e place provisoire au général, dans l’affaire. Le revenant Dani Sordo (Hyundai), pour son premier Rallye de l’année, complète le podium au général. Takamoto Katsuta (Toyota) et Fergus Greensmith (M-Sport) ferment la marche du top 5.
