First victory for Ciaramitaro at the Rallye de la Sainte-Baume

Already on the podium in 2014 (2^e), 2015 (3^e), 2018 (3^e) and 2019 (2^e), Stéphane Ciaramitaro finally made it happen at the end of a race with twists and turns which kicked off the French 2 championship^e Division. Facing around ten R5s (Skoda Fabia, Fiesta, DS3 and 208 T16), Romain Dumas back in rally after an absence of several months, surprised everyone from the 1^re ES en signant le scratch avec sa Porsche 997 GT3 RS. L’Alésien récidivait coup sur coup, seul Bourcier parvenant à garder le contact, à 4 »4 après l’ES4. Ce dernier perdait toutefois une cinquantaine de secondes dans le chrono suivant et plongeait à la 5^e general place behind Ciaramitaro, Hernandez and Alerini. After winning the 6 SS of the day, Dumas was well ahead of the 1^re stage in front of Ciaramitaro, at 28''. The next day saw the leader abandon in the 9^e of the 12 ES, aspirated air filter seal, which therefore allowed Ciaramitaro to finally add his name to the prize list of the Provençal event. Seven-time winner here, Bourcier made a good comeback to 2^e place. As part of championship 2^e Division, Hernandez held command during the first 5 times, before being overtaken in SS6 by the Corsican Alerini who remained leader until the end despite constant pressure from his rival.
