Jean-Marie Cuoq (Citroën C4 WRC) concluded the first stage of the Rally Terre des Langres (Haute-Marne) with a lead of 8”4 over Julien Maurin (Skoda Fabia R5) who gained more than three seconds in the last special of the day.
Arnaud Mordacq (Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX) is in third position, more than a minute behind the leader while leading Group N. Paul Chieusse (Peugeot 307 WRC) and Jean-Marc Falco (Lancer Evo IX) complete the top five.
Frantz Comoli (DS 3 R5) retired while in third place at the end of SS5 following contact with a stump damaging the rear axle of his car. Axel Garcia remains in the lead of the Citroën Racing Trophy in seventh place in the general classification, a few seconds behind Cyrille Feraud (Citroën Xsara WRC).
