Portugal – SS22: Ott Tänak is unstoppable!

• And one more that makes ten! On that rally of Portugal 2025, Ott Tänak has just achieved his tenth scratch during SS22, the penultimate of the day. He beat the two Toyota de Sébastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanperä, respectively 3″5 and 3″7. Thus, the Estonian is now only 3″7 behind the Finn in the general classification and seems more than capable of snatching second place in the final standings. The Frenchman, for his part, consolidates his leading position with a 16″5 lead over his teammate.
• Behind, no changes except for Elfyn Evans who takes provisional sixth place from his teammate Sami Pajari. As for the rest of the weekend, the Ford Puma Rally1s of M-Sport are out of the running and are closing the march in the general classification Adrien fourmaux.
• In Rally2, Yohan Rossel put everyone on the right track in this 22nd special stage in Portugal! The Frenchman won by 3 seconds ahead of Oliver Solberg and 4 seconds ahead of Gus Greensmith. Overall, the Citroën driver did well, consolidating his second place behind the Swede and widening the gap with the Briton, with 4 seconds now separating the two men.
