Andre (Skoda Fabia) took the first scratch but went off the road on SS2 in very difficult weather conditions. Bert (Subaru Impreza) took the lead during the first stage with a 4” lead over Benier, leader of the group F2000, while Esparcieux was at 17’’.

The next day, the latter signed three scratches to count, before the final loop, 36” ahead of Artzner and 59” over Corberand while Bert gave up due to a mechanical problem. Esparcieux scored two new scratches to easily win, after his 2nd place last year. In Group A, Udvarnoski was the clear leader, his closest opponent finishing almost 2′ behind in the end.
