David Salanon retains the lead of the 61st Rally du Var at the start of the second stage with a lead of five seconds over Pierre Roché (Mini JCW). Freddy Loix (Skoda Fabia R5) completes the top three by being leader at R5 and ahead of Quentin Gilbert and Marc Amourette. Eric Mauffrey (Peugeot 208 T16) retired after leaving the road while Yoann Bonato (208 T16) suffered an electrical problem.
