Sardinia – SS5: Second scratch for Sordo, Tänak hangs on

The awakening of man Rally de Sardaigne ?

With a time of 14’49″2, Dani Sordo was ahead Craig Breen (M-Sport) de 3 secondes et Pierre-Louis Loubet (M-Sport) de 5″2. Une opération qui lui a permis d’intégrer le Top 5 à désormais 14″6 d’Ott Tänak (Hyundai) which continues a 2nd special at the head of the Rally of Sardinia.

In the Top 5 before the start of SS5, Adrien fourmaux (M-Sport) left him at the end of the special. Victim of a puncture on the front left in the last sector, the Northerner let around ten seconds slip away, falling to 6th place, 26″1 behind Ott Tänak. Hindered by a faulty transmission, Thierrry Neuville (Hyundai) lost more than a minute and saw its hopes of victory go up in smoke. He is now 2 minutes behind his teammate.
