Sweden – SS7: Tänak new leader

After Elfyn Evans and Takamoto Katsuta, the Rally Sweden has a new leader. It isOtt Tänak ! The Estonian pulled out all the stops in this very fast seventh special stage to get the better of Elfyn Evans. By beating the Welshman by a full 5 seconds on the clock, the 2019 world champion managed to take the lead in the general standings before the last special stage of the day.

So, Ott Tänak leads the pack with a slight lead! Indeed, only half a second separates him from his runner-up… Takamoto Katsuta! Elfyn Evans has dropped back to third but is only 1“4 behind the Estonian. Adrien fourmaux et Thierry Neuville, who posted the best time in 6'02“5, complete the Top 5 at 7“2 and 9“9 respectively.
