Stéphane Lefebvre (GR Yaris Rally2), who set the fastest time in the day's first special, took advantage of the opportunity to oust Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-Trajectus Motorsport) from first place. With a fourth-fastest start to the day, the Citroën driver conceded more than 3 seconds to the new leader. The two drivers are now separated by 1,2 seconds.
Second in this special, Eric Camilli (i20 N Rally2-2C Compétition) continues to close the gap on the two strong men of Le Touquet. On drier terrain, Raphaël Astier (A110 GT-P-CHL Sport Auto) is on par with the Rally2s and sets a fine third time. Lucas Darmezin (C3 Rally2-PH Sport) completes the top 5 in this first time of the day.
