"Back in black" for Toyota in 2025. The Japanese manufacturer will keep the same livery as in 2024 for the upcoming season. The GR Yaris Rally1, now devoid of the hybrid system, will therefore be adorned with a predominantly black body, with the initials "GR" affixed to the hood and doors of the Japanese mount. No changes are to be noted concerning the livery, except for the appearance of Hankook stickers, the new tire manufacturer of the WRC which replaces Pirelli.

In 2024, Toyota had radically changed its livery: traditionally white, it had changed to black. Toyota Gazoo Racing had explained that there were two concepts behind this matte black dress: the first is "Speed" which affirms the rejection of defeat. The second is "Prototype", which reflects the desire to manufacture ever more efficient sports cars and to continue moving forward.
In the video presentation of the 2025 livery, published on social networks, it is however interesting to note that the name of Sami Pajari does not appear alongside those of Kalle Rovanperä, Elfyn Evans, Sébastien Ogier and Takamoto Katsuta. Will the Finn, registered in a "B team" in 2025, have a different livery from the Toyotas of the official team? Last year, on his few appearances in Rally1, the young 23-year-old driver drove a Yaris dressed... in white.
