Author of his second consecutive scratch this morning, in still wet conditions, Yoann Bonato (C3 Rally2-CHL Sport Auto) took the opportunity to move into the lead of the Rally of the Var. The 2 Alpes driver is ahead of Nicolas Ciamin (Fabia Rally2 evo-Oreca Store) by 1,7 seconds, who spun at the start of the special. “I was surprised on a left and I spun, I lost around ten seconds,” commented Ciamin at the finish of SS 6.
Third in this special, Pierre Roché (C3 Rally2-Team FJ) further consolidates his place on the podium ahead of Patrick Rouillard (Fabia Rally2-Rouillard Sport).
Julien Saunier (A110 Rally-Sébastien Loeb Racing Bardhal) is confident behind the wheel of his Alpine with the fourth fastest time ahead of Rouillard. In the general classification, François Delecour is the best representative of the Dieppe brand with fifth place.
