Unsurprisingly, this Rally Monte-Carlo has once again kept all its promises. This 2025 edition began with the famous night specials on Thursday evening, stormed by spectators and enlivened by fireworks. A beautiful spectacle to start with and above all action since Sébastien Ogier was immediately there with two scratches at the start before narrowly missing out on a correction in the last outing of the day.
Friday is Adrien fourmaux who delighted the crowds. For his first rally with Hyundai, the Northerner took advantage of his teammates' setbacks Thierry Neuville et Ott Tänak to position themselves in the fight for the podium with some great passages to boot.
On Saturday, Ott Tänak, who had assumed his calm strategy, set the record straight by fully relaunching himself in the race for the podium before cracking on Sunday. A day marked by the near hopes of victory of Adrien Fourmaux, finally 3rd, and especially by the 10th success of Sébastien Ogier in this Monte-Carlo Rally, which is definitely his event. I don't know where to start, what weekend. I think my lucky star accompanied me this weekend, confided the Gapençais. It was my uncle, who we lost a year ago.
