Rally Sardinia – SS2: Ott Tänak in attack mode, all three M-Sports on the floor!

Hyundai sets the record straight in this second special of the day in Sardinia! Thus, we find the three drivers of the South Korean team in the first three places: Ott Tänak ahead Thierry Neuville (+3″3) and Adrien fourmaux (+4″1). The Belgian takes the provisional lead in the general classification by just one second ahead of the Estonian.

Behind, the first Toyota, fourth therefore, is that of Takamoto Katsuta. Pajari and Ogier take 5th and 6th places, ahead of Rovanperä and Evans. We logically find the first three on the road, the Welshman, the Finn and the Frenchman, the lowest ranked of the favorites in this SS2, since they swept for their rivals.

On the other hand, this second special on the Sardinian roads got the better of the three M-Sport !! Indeed, Munster hit a bank on the right side and finished as best he could. On the other hand, McErlean and Sesks, who rolled over without consequences, did not leave! The Latvian should not be able to ride again this weekend. In WRC2, Yohan Rossel (Citroën), third in this SS2 in Sardinia behind Alejandro Cachon and Nicolay Gryazin, takes second place in the provisional general classification! However, he is already 15 seconds behind the Bulgarian. His brother Léo, eleventh in the special, is now eighth in the classification, 8 seconds behind the Skoda driver.
