Toyota has just announced the retirement of Jari-Matti Latvala following his shock absorber problems. The Finn fell to 5th at the end of SS12 following his problems when he was closest to the leader Ott Tänak (Toyota) in the early afternoon. Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) is the first to benefit, the driver of the C3 WRC ahead of Teemu Suninen (M-Sport).
