Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) scored its first scratch at the Rally d’Argentine en bouclant les 13,92km de Tanti – Mataderos en 8’59’’9. Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) a été le plus proche avec un peu plus d’une seconde de retard. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) followed more than 2 seconds ahead of Kris Meeke (Toyota). Ott Tänak (Toyota) a manqué un peu de vitesse sur ce parcours en finissant à plus de 7 secondes de la référence, juste devant Dani Sordo (Hyundai). Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) s’est classé à une douzaine de secondes.
Thierry Neuville pushes back Ott Tänak at 11 seconds. Andreas Mikkelsen still completes the provisional podium ahead of Kris Meeke and Dani Sordo grouped together in less than 5 seconds. The Spaniard sees Sébastien Ogier return to within 2 seconds of the Top 5. Jari-Matti Latvala remains 7th ahead of Teemu Suninen and Mads Ostberg (Citroën), solid leader of the WRC 2 Pro.
