Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) a été le plus proche du scratch d’Ott Tänak in the 9th special of Rally from Chile. By finishing 2 tenths behind the time of 10'08''9 achieved by the Estonian at the end of the 16,59km of Pelun, the nine-time champion WRC a repris plus de 3 secondes à Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota). Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) a cédé près de 4 secondes au leader de l’épreuve en précédant Elfyn Evans (M-Sport), Esapekka Lappi (Citroën), Teemu Suninen (M-Sport) et Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai).

 

 

Ott Tänak finishes the first pass of the day with a lead of more than 34 seconds over Sébastien Ogier. Jari-Matti Latvala remains on the provisional podium with a one second lead over Sébastien Loeb. Elfyn Evans remains 5th ahead of Teemu Suninen who is ahead of Esapekka Lappi by a dozen seconds. Andreas Mikkelsen is still in 8th place.
