To end this first day of Rally from Croatia, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) a remporté sa 3e spéciale de rang. Le Tricolore a avalé les 9,11 kilomètres de l’ES8 en 4’49“8 devançant ainsi les deux hommes de Hyundai, Ott Tänak et Thierry Neuville.

Thanks to this great final performance, the world champion moved up to 2nd position overall. He is now only 7” behind leader Thierry Neuville. Until now runner-up to the Belgian, Elfyn Evans (Toyota) has moved back one place and is now 7 seconds behind.
