Mikko Hirvonen (Ford Focus WRC) achieved a scratch during the second of the two passages planned for this Saturday in the Sapporo super special. He thus gained eight tenths from Petter Solberg (Citroën C4 WRC), who now only has a 3??7 lead over the Finn. Sébastien Ogier (Citroën C4 WRC) is third, 5??4 behind the leader of the Rally from Japan.
