Sébastien Loeb (Citroën) is losing ground to its direct rivals Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford) and Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) on the Las Garrigues route. Sébastien Ogier signs the best provisional time by completing the 18,5km in 13, or 14 better than the Flying Finn. The leader of rally of Catalonia gives up 4??9 to his teammate. Mikko Hirvonen (Ford) loses further ground by conceding 6??1 to Sébastien Ogier. Dani Sordo (Mini) finished at 10”2.
Kimi Räikkönen (Citroën) stopped in the special. Iceman was in 17th position, 2'30 behind the leader.
Sébastien Loeb remains in control of the event with a lead of 5??3 over Jari-Matti Latvala when going to mid-stage service.
