Sébastien Loeb (Citroen C4 WRC), yet “opener” of the specials on the ground of Rally from Spain, set the best time on the first pass in the Terra Alta special (SS1). Initially winding on a stony portion, this sector then offers an asphalt surface before returning to earth favoring attack. It is on this terrain that the Frenchman widened the gap since his closest rival, Jari-Matti Latvala (Ford Focus WRC), finished 2??7 behind the World Champion. Third in SS1 and therefore in the general classification, Sébastien Ogier (Citroën C4 WRC) is 7”1.
