Estonia, SS7 – Neuville retires, worries for Toyota!

If the start of Rally of Estonia was almost quiet, several incidents punctuated the seventh special. Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) n’ira pas plus loin après une touchette et un train arrière droit totalement arraché :

Moins pénalisant, du moins dans un premier temps, un pneu délaminé à haute vitesse a arraché un gros morceau de carrosserie sur la Toyota d’Elfyn Evans, qui peut toutefois continuer sa route. Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) and Craig Breen (Hyundai) also finished the special with a crazy tire, but the Frenchman still set the best time.

Ott Tänak increased his lead to 10″3 over his teammate Craig Breen while Sébastien Ogier dug the hole in 3rd place. Frenchman Pierre-Louis Loubet (Hyundai) remains 10th in the event while awaiting confirmation of Thierry Neuville's retirement. 

En WRC 2, Mads Ostberg (Citroën) moves forward ahead of Nikolay Gryazin (Hyundai).
