Ott Tänak (Toyota) est resté invaincu dans le premier passage de la deuxième étape du Rally de Finlande. Le leader de l’épreuve a signé son 4e scratch consécutif en bouclant les 8,95km de Tuohikotanen avec 6 dixièmes d’avance sur son coéquipier Jari-Matti Latvala et une seconde d’avance sur Mads Ostberg (Citroën). Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) a repris 5 secondes à Teemu Suninen (M-Sport).
Ott Tänak returns to mid-stage service with a lead of almost 24 seconds over Mads Ostberg. Jari-Matti Latvala remains on the provisional podium ahead of Hayden Paddon, but it is now Esapekka Lappi who occupies 5th place with 3”7 ahead of Teemu Suninen. Sébastien Ogier remains 7th with less than 2 seconds ahead of Elfyn Evans. Craig Breen (Citroen) and Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) still complete the Top 10.
