Good news in Jordan: the 37 trucks from the Ford, Citroën, Michelin, North One Sport (etc.) teams have finally been unloaded at the port of Haifa in Israel. All that remains is to cross the country and a border where everything is apparently organized by the Jordanian Embassy, to facilitate the passage of the convoy.
The teams will have to work all night to install their assistance while Michelin fitters will be called upon to prepare all the wheels.
The bad news is the cancellation of the first stage. The organizers' plan would be to hold a shakedown on Thursday morning followed in the afternoon by the departure ceremony at the Roman site of Jerash. THE rally would only begin Friday morning with the second stage, followed by the third the next day.
