Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) a réalisé une sélection différente en embarquant deux gommes neige cloutées et 4 pneus slicks super-tendres.
His teammates at Hyundai Sébastien Loeb and Andreas Mikkelsen for their part chose to take four studded snow tires and one snow tire. These choices could give rise to real differences in the ranking of the two evening ES.
