Monte-Carlo-SS6: Evans new leader, Ogier loses big

Le Rally Monte-Carlo has a new leader. After Ott Tänak et Sébastien Ogier, it is Elfy Evans who takes the lead in the first event of the season.

The Welshman took advantage of Sébastien Ogier's puncture to set the best time (13'32"5) on SS6 ahead of Ott Tânak and Thierry Neuville.


The classification of SS6

Sébastien Ogier finished 11th in this sixth special, 34” behind Elfyn Evans. The latter is now leading the Monte-Carlo Rally with 7 seconds ahead of Ott Tänak and 20 seconds ahead of Sébastien Ogier. Thierry Neuville and Kalle Rovanperä complete the Top 4. Both men are more than a minute behind the leader.


The general classification after SS6

In WRC2 no change to note. Andreas Mikkelsen is still in the lead ahead Adrien fourmaux.
