Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) s’est assuré sa 4e victoire de la saison WRC en remportant le Wales Rally GB avec une dizaine de secondes d’avance sur Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota). Esapekka Lappi (Toyota) complète le podium devant Craig Breen (Citroën) which held its ground against Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) pour 4 secondes. Andreas Mikkelsen suit son coéquipier à 1’’5 avec 2’’5 sur la 3e i20 WRC emmenée par Hayden Paddon. Mads Ostberg (Citroën) a échoué à 3 secondes du Néo-Zélandais.
Kalle Rovanperä (Skoda) scored his first WRC victory by winning ahead of Pontus Tidemand (Skoda) and Gus Greensmith (Ford). Jari Huttunen (Hyundai) and Stéphane Lefebvre (Citroën) complete the Top 5 in the category.
