The two pilots WRC of the Citroën Junior Team will take part in the Rally della Lanterna (which counts towards the Italian asphalt rally trophy), which will take place at the end of next week near Genoa. The drivers will thus prepare to face the asphalt events in the WRC championship which will be numerous with the Rally from Bulgaria, Germany, France and Spain. Sébastien Ogier has only experienced two rallies on asphalt at the wheel of the C4 WRC while this will be the first rally on this surface for the former driver of F1 at the wheel of the Citroën.
