We had to wait until SS12 to see someone beat Ott Tänak (Hyundai) ce samedi. Plus rapide que le reste du peloton, Elfyn Evans (Toyota) s’est offert son premier scratch dans ce Rally from Portugal.
On the line, the Welshman was ahead of Ott Tänak by 6 tenths and Dani Sordo (Hyundai) by 4 seconds. If he does not get very close to Tänak in the general standings, Elfyn Evans on the other hand pushes Sordo back a little more than 3 seconds behind him.
Fourth in this SS12, Sébastien Ogier (Toyota) moved up to 4th position overall in place of his teammate Takamoto Katsuta. The Habs nevertheless remain more than a minute behind leader Ott Tänak.
