Ott Tänak (Toyota) a signé son 3e scratch consécutif au Rally de Sardaigne en bouclant les 28,03km de Monte Lerno en 18’10’’6. Dani Sordo (Hyundai) a suivi à 9 secondes devant les Ford de Teemu Suninen et Elfyn Evans. Kris Meeke (Toyota) a échoué à près de 17 secondes en précédant Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai) et Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota). Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) finished more than 22 seconds behind. Esapekka Lappi (Citroën) was more than half a minute behind.
Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) arrived at the finish line a dozen minutes late, his Citroën still being damaged.
Ott Tänak takes the lead of the Sardinia Rally with a 6s lead over Dani Sordo. Teemu Suninen still completes the provisional podium. Elfyn Evans returned to 4th place, 4”2 ahead of Andreas Mikkelsen. Kris Meeke is still in 6th place ahead of Thierry Neuville and Esapekka Lappi.
