Kris Meeke was on a good pace at the Rally of France-Alsace since he occupied fourth position in front of the Ford drivers. But the Briton retired after going off the road while trying to follow the leaders and intends to adopt a more cautious approach for the last two rallies of the season.
“I am sometimes my own worst enemy, like when I wanted to ride with the leading riders”, admits the Mini driver. ?It?s difficult to find your rhythm and learn and sometimes it ends a little prematurely. Spain will be another learning event just like Rally GB. I have to find my rhythm during a few meetings and gain enough experience to ride with the leaders. »
