Ypres, SS14: Evans leads the charge

On this second pass on the Dikkebus special, 14 kilometers long, some drivers rediscovered the route after the red flag this morning, caused by the accident of Craig Breen.
This time, no accident to report, and it was Elfyn Evans who set the best time on SS14, his first scratch of the day, in 7'38″6. The Welshman beats once again Ott Tänak (3rd, +1″7) and is only 3 seconds behind the Estonian overall. Thierry Neuville (4e, +2″8) a concédé un peu de temps, le Belge avait traversé cette spéciale au ralenti ce matin. Le pilote Hyundai est toujours ancré en tête du Rally from Ypres with 17 seconds ahead of Tänak.
No change in the rest of the ranking. Adrien fourmaux et Oliver Solberg ont signé le même temps sur cette 14e spéciale, le Français conserve donc la 5e place au championnat. Le pilote M-Sport a confié vouloir assurer le coup et ne pas prendre de gros risques cet après-midi.
