Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) wins the Spanish Grand Prix ahead of Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes). Sergio Pérez (Racing Point) finished 4th under the checkered flag, but had to observe a 5″ penalty for not respecting the blue flags, which placed his teammate Lance Stroll in 4th position. Carlos Sainz (McLaren) takes 6th place ahead of Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari), Alex Albon (Red Bull), Pierre Gasly (AlphaTauri) and Lando Norris (McLaren).
Victory for Lewis Hamilton this Sunday in Spain after leading from start to finish!
Big scare for Romain Grosjean at the exit of turn no. 8, with a big cross, finally controlled.
T66 – Hamilton begins the final lap.
This stop secures second place for Verstappen.
Bottas dives into the pit lane: clearly the Finn wants the best lap in the race with new medium tyres.
T64 – Bottas turns to get back on Verstappen. 5″1 gap between the two drivers.

By going off-course at turns 1 and 2, Grosjean damaged his Haas VF20 on a yellow banana. A part of the car came loose, on which Hamilton rolled immediately.
With his 5″ penalty Pérez is on the edge against his teammate Stroll. 4″3 between the two Racing Point drivers for 4th place.
Sainz took 6th place against Vettel by passing the Ferrari at the end of the straight with the help of DRS.
Ferrari indicates that the engine of Leclerc's SF1000 stopped after passing a curb. The investigation is underway in the Italian clan.

5″ penalty for Kvyat for non-compliance with blue flags.
With ten laps to go, Stroll easily passed Vettel for 5th place.

T52 – After this second burst of stops, Hamilton has a 9″ margin over Verstappen, the latter having to monitor the return of Bottas, shod on soft tires unlike the two drivers preceding him on the track.
Pérez follows in 4th position ahead of Vettel, who only made one stop, and who will visibly try to go to the end. Followed by Stroll, Sainz, Albon, Gasly and Norris for the top 10.
