2017 Singapore Grand Prix

Mercedes escapes a little further in the Constructors' Championship with a lead of 102 points over Ferrari.
The provisional classification for the Singapore GP:
Hamilton remains undefeated since the restart following the summer break, with 3 consecutive victories.
Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) wins the Singapore GP at Marina Bay and takes advantage of the retirement of Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) to increase his lead to 28 points. Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) and Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) complete the podium.
Carlos Sainz Jr (Toro Rosso) takes fourth place ahead of Sergio Pérez (Force India). Jolyon Palmer (Renault) and Stoffel Vandoorne (McLaren) follow the Mexican. Lance Stroll (Williams) ranks eighth ahead of Frenchmen Romain Grosjean (Haas) and Esteban Ocon (Force India). Eight drivers retired. This is the best result in F1 for Sainz Jr, Palmer and Vandoorne.
Hamilton wins the Singapore GP ahead of Ricciardo and Bottas! His lead is now 28 points over Vettel who retired. This is his 7th success of the season, the 60th of his career.
Hamilton completes one last lap of the race, the 2 hour limit having now been crossed.
Hamilton begins the 57th and final lap of the race, the limit being set at two hours for a Grand Prix.
There are 3 minutes of racing left before the checkered flag and the positions seem frozen. Hamilton is on course to win and extend his Championship lead to 28 points.
With 7 minutes to go, the top three are separated by just over 3 seconds between each car. Hamilton has less than 7t to cover.

Magnussen returned to the garage. The Haas driver joins the list of retirements.
10 minutes from the finish, Magnussen has just lost his MGU-K. The Haas driver could be the 8th driver to retire.

13 minutes from the finish, Hülkenberg returned to the pits only to retire following a mechanical problem. Ocon takes 10th place. The German, who was fighting for a podium at the start of the event, is the 7th driver to dismount.
With 17 minutes to go, Grosjean is aiming for 8th place from Stroll, playing less than a second behind the Williams driver. The Frenchman remains under threat from Hülkenberg.
Mercedes asked Hamilton to slow his pace so that the peloton would be grouped together in case the race was interrupted again, with one driver potentially being given a "free" pit stop. The race leader responded that he was not comfortable riding outside his pace. There are less than 18 minutes of racing left.
Hamilton lost almost 2s to Ricciardo who came within 2s of the Mercedes. The Briton resumed his usual pace on the next lap.
With 21 minutes to go, Grosjean is put under pressure by Hülkenberg who is less than a second behind the Haas driver. Ocon also follows the Renault by a few tenths.
With 22 minutes to go, Hamilton already has a lead of almost 4 seconds over Ricciardo. The Briton seems decidedly untouchable today.
