Sebastian Vettel won the Hungarian GP where he started from pole. Scuderia Ferrari signs the double with Kimi Räikkönen. Valtteri Bottas (Mercedes) completes the podium ahead of his teammate Lewis Hamilton. Max Verstappen (Red Bull) completes the top five.
Both McLarens finished in the points, Fernando Alonso placing 6th while Stoffel Vandoorne completed the top ten. Carlos Sainz Jr (Toro Rosso) is 7th ahead of the Force India of Sergio Pérez and Esteban Ocon. Romain Grosjean (Haas) retired due to a loose wheel.

T65 – Hamilton seems to be struggling with his tires. The Mercedes driver finds himself more than 2s behind Räikkönen. Bottas sees Verstappen coming back to 2s of his W08. The Finn will have difficulty recovering his 3rd place.

T64 – McLaren is in contention for a finish with both its cars in the points. Alonso is 6th between Verstappen and Sainz Jr and Vandoorne 10th between Ocon and Magnussen.

The commissioners are investigating Magnussen for his maneuver on Hülkenberg.

T62 – Williams asks Di Resta to retire, presumably to allow the team to change parts for the next race. The Scotsman was in last place in his 59th Grand Prix.

T62 – Magnussen completely crushed Hülkenberg at turn 3, forcing the Renault driver who was attempting a maneuver from the outside to go onto the grass. The German lost a place to Kvyat and finds himself 13th.

T60 – Hamilton, who can communicate again, indicates that he can only wait for an error from Räikkönen to hope to take 2nd place.
