Rosberg is under investigation by the stewards for contact between the Mercedes and for not stopping on track after tearing off his front wing.

This is Hamilton's 46th victory in F1 but his first at the Austrian GP. The Briton would come back to 11 points behind Rosberg if the positions remain as they are.

Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) wins the Austrian Grand Prix ahead of Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Kimi Räikkönen (Ferrari). Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) was in the lead until the last lap, but the German damaged his front wing following contact with his teammate and only finished fourth. Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) completes the top five ahead of Jenson Button (McLaren), Romain Grosjean (Haas), Valtteri Bottas (Williams) and Pascal Wehrlein who takes the first top ten of the season for Manor.

Lewis Hamilton's overtaking of Nico Rosberg remains contentious since a yellow flag seemed to be waved following the exit of the track by Sergio Pérez (Force India).

Wehrlein takes Manor's first top ten of the season. Bad news for Sauber.

Hamilton's overtake remains contentious, with Pérez having ended up in the rail in front of the Mercedes causing a yellow flag.

Ricciardo took 5th place ahead of Button, Grosjean, Sainz Jr and Bottas. Wehrlein completes the top ten.

Rosberg should have no traffic in the very tense final lap between the two Mercedes drivers.

T70 – Rosberg seems to be in agony with his tires and is losing time with the latecomers.

T68 – Hamilton came back to within half a second of Rosberg slowed down by Gutiérrez who did not respect the blue flags. There are still 3 rounds left.

With 5 laps to go, Rosberg maintains a lead of 1″1 over Hamilton. Räikkönen returned to 2″8 behind Verstappen who completes the provisional podium.

T65 – Hamilton sets the best time in the race and is 1″3 behind leader Rosberg.

T64 – Ricciardo came back to within half a second of Button. The Australian is ahead of Grosjean, still in 7th place.

T62 – It is now Hamilton who must overtake Verstappen and who loses time against Rosberg.

T61 – The top three are grouped into 1″3. Rosberg attempted an attack by locking his wheels and managed to find an opening on Verstappen at the next corner.
