Behind Elfyn Evans (M-Sport), author of a new scratch in SS8 of Wales Rally GB, Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) increased the gap on his opponents by being 1”3 behind the Dmack driver. The Belgian takes 4”5 from Sébastien Ogier (M-Sport) and almost five seconds from Ott Tänak (M-Sport).

Elfyn Evans now has more than 50 seconds ahead of Thierry Neuville who is ahead of Ott Tänak by more than six seconds. Sébastien Ogier is similarly behind the Estonian. Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) still occupies fifth place, maintaining a lead of more than four seconds over Andreas Mikkelsen (Hyundai). Kris Meeke (Citroën) remains in contact with the Norwegian with a little more than two seconds behind.

Evans signs his 8th scratch at Wales Rally GB with a time of 7'35″1. The Dmack rider now has a 56s lead over his closest rival, Tänak. He remains undefeated today. " Everything is going well. We are managing our lead in this very long stage. We will try to stay clean. »

Tänak sets the 7th provisional time, 4 tenths behind Ogier. The Frenchman is less than 6 seconds behind his teammate who remains in 3rd place. “Everyone seems very fast today. »

Ogier sets the 5th time, 4″5 behind Neuville. The M-Sport driver is now a dozen seconds behind the Belgian. “I also try to be in contact but I lack rhythm. »

Neuville improves the benchmark to 7'36"4, 2"5 better than his teammate Mikkelsen. The Belgian is fighting to maintain his 2nd place against M-Sport drivers Tänak and Ogier. " It goes well. We must continue to fight for the Championship to be decided in Australia. »

Latvala is closest to Mikkelsen, losing 4 tenths to the Hyundai driver. The Finn retains his 5th place for 4″3 ahead of the Norwegian. “Andreas is still a little faster than us. »

Meeke achieves the 3rd provisional time, 1″9 behind Mikkelsen, arriving with a damaged rear wing. The Citroën driver is now 2″4 from 6th place. “I didn't know my wing was damaged. I don't know what could have happened. »

Mikkelsen improves the provisional scratch with a time of 7'39″1, 1″7 better than his teammate Paddon. The Norwegian is fighting with Meeke to maintain his 6th place. “I went too wide in the last turns. However, I got off to a good start. »

Sordo gives up 2″5 to his teammate Paddon. The Spaniard is now almost 10 seconds behind the New Zealander.

Paddon improves the benchmark with a time of 7'40″8, 3″6 better than Lappi. The Hyundai driver looks to defend his 8th place against his teammate Sordo.

Hänninen ranks 1″4 behind his teammate Lappi but maintains a good lead over his compatriot by remaining in 10th place.

Lappi achieves the first benchmark in 7'44"4, 35 seconds ahead of Al Qassimi. The Toyota driver is still on the verge of the top ten.

Al Qassimi finished with a time of 8'20″2. The Citroën driver failed 50 seconds behind Evans' scratch achieved in the first pass while he was in 26th place.
