The drivers take a break before tackling the Panzerplatte super special followed by the real 40km course from 17:40 p.m.
The accident of Stéphane Lefebvre and Gabin Moreau in Panzerplatte at Rally Germany caused several fractures for both competitors.
According to the latest information from the Citroën driver's Facebook account, Gabin Moreau underwent surgery this afternoon for a broken left ankle.
Lappi was once again the fastest in WRC 2. The Finn now has a 52″ lead over Kremer. Kopecky follows more than a minute behind, preceding De Mevius and Loubet.

Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) signed the scratch in the second pass of Bosenberg with a time of 7'42''9 achieved to complete the 14,45km. The Hyundai driver was almost two seconds ahead of the Volkswagens of Andreas Mikkelsen and Sébastien Ogier, but above all he took 2”7 back from his teammate Dani Sordo.
Hayden Paddon (Hyundai) took 4”4 from Mads Ostberg (Ford). The New Zealander and the Norwegian took advantage of the retirement of Ott Tänak who returned to service following his alternator problems.
Sébastien Ogier maintains a lead of 19”8 over Andreas Mikkelsen before Panzerplatte. Thierry Neuville follows the Norwegian by around ten seconds, preceding his teammate Dani Sordo by 3”3. Hayden Paddon inherits fifth place after taking the advantage over Mads Ostberg by 1”8.
Tänak retired following his alternator problem while in 5th place. It is Paddon who inherits the position, preceding Ostberg.
Latvala signs the 5th provisional time, 4″5 behind the scratch. “It’s always more complicated to start behind in these conditions. The car handles perfectly. The goal now is to continue learning about this rally. »
Camilli is the slowest with 17″1 behind Neuville.

Sordo drops 2″7 tenths on Neuville and finds himself 3″3 behind 3rd place. “I feel good here but the times are never good. »
Neuville signed the provisional scratch while driving with the hood open. “I had to slow down at times to avoid crashing. »
Ostberg slips to 7th place behind Paddon, finishing 4″4 behind the New Zealander. The M-Sport driver finds himself 2s behind the Hyundai.
Neuville took the best time with a time of 7'42″9, 1″7 better than Mikkelsen. The Hyundai driver remains in the fight with Sordo for 3rd place.
