Monte-Carlo Rally 2019
The outcome of the Monte-Carlo Rally will be contested from 12:18 p.m. with the 13,58km La Cabanette – Col de Braus Power Stage. Tänak took the scratch in the first run in 9'52″4. Neuville followed at 7 tenths, ahead of Ogier by a tenth.
Thierry Neuville (Hyundai) put an end to the series of 6 scratches signed by Ott Tänak (Toyota) by completing the 18,41km from La Bollène-Vésubie – Peïa-Cava in 11'25''5. The Belgian takes 2''8 back from Sébastien Ogier (Citroën) who confirmed he was suffering from problems with the accelerator.
Ott Tänak followed almost 4 seconds behind, gaining more than 5 seconds from Sébastien Loeb (Hyundai) who was nevertheless ahead of Jari-Matti Latvala (Toyota) with a small 2 second lead.
Sébastien Ogier remains in the lead at the Monte-Carlo Rally but he only has a lead of 4 tenths over Thierry Neuville before the Power Stage. Ott Tänak consolidates his 3rd place, now 8 seconds ahead of Sébastien Loeb. Jari-Matti Latvala is now almost 3 seconds behind the nine-time WRC champion. Kris Meeke (Toyota) remains 6th ahead of Gus Greensmith (Ford), the leader of WRC 2 Pro, and Yoann Bonato (Citroën) still at the head of WRC 2.

Ogier fails 2″8 behind Neuville and keeps the lead of the rally by only 4 tenths before the Power Stage!
Neuville takes the provisional scratch, 3″8 ahead of Tänak. The Hyundai driver puts an end to Tänak's series of 6 stage wins.
Ogier is now 3”7 behind Neuville in the 3rd intermediate position. The Belgian virtually takes the lead by half a second.
Loeb drops 5″2 to Tänak but is ahead of Latvala by 1″8. The Hyundai driver remains between the two Toyotas, now 8 seconds behind Tänak but 2”8 ahead of Latvala. “We attacked hard. We changed the settings and it's a little better, especially since the grip is higher. »
Latvala ranks 7s behind his teammate Tänak and will have difficulty catching Loeb in this SS without any errors from the Alsatian. The Finn finds himself 11s behind his Estonian teammate. “Ott is doing very well. We have to see what Loeb does, but it's not good news if Loeb is faster. »
Loeb is now 1″6 behind Tänak at the 3rd intermediate but is more than 3s ahead of Latvala at the same place.
Tänak improves his teammate Meeke's time by almost 2 seconds. The Estonian is fighting to maintain his 3rd position and his series of scratches that began yesterday morning. “The car responded better and I drove well even if I didn't launch the full attack. Rather satisfied. »
Ogier is ahead of Neuville by 8 tenths in the first split. Loeb is one second behind Tänak and 4 tenths behind Latvala at the next intermediate.
Meeke improves Suninen's time by more than 9s. The Toyota driver remains 6th and is aiming for bonus points in the Power Stage by preserving his tires. “I still wanted to keep a good pace to stay focused. »
Neuville is currently the fastest in the first split with almost a second ahead of Tänak.
Tidemand sets a first time of 10'50″9, quickly beaten by his teammate Suninen by around ten seconds.
Latvala is now more than half a second behind his teammate Tänak in the 2nd intermediate.
Loeb is 7 tenths behind Latvala and more than a second behind Tänak at the first intermediate.
Meeke is now half a second ahead of his teammate Tänak in 2nd intermediate. Latvala is just a second behind the Estonian in the first split.
Tänak is in the lead with 2 tenths ahead of his teammate Meeke in the first partial.
Tidemand takes off for the second time in the La Bollène-Vésubie – Peïra-Cava special. The M-Sport driver is in 2nd position.
De Mevius will not go any further. The Belgian went off the road in SS14 while occupying 2nd place in WRC 2, 10th in the general classification. “It’s the end of the rally for us. We were too fast and we broke a suspension shaft. It wasn't a big mistake, but the consequences are significant..."
